When will Kurti tea be available to ship?
We're in the process of packaging our first batch of Kurti tea right now. It will be available to ship in February 2026. Feel free to pre-order to be one of our first customers to receive your box.
What makes Kurti's tea different from other chai brands?
Kurti offers authentic chai tea made with only the top 1% of high-quality tea leaves. Unlike mass-produced brands that mix different grades of tea and tea dust, we use premium black tea that’s handpicked from our family’s tea plantation. This results in a stronger, more flavorful chai that’s naturally rich in taste, with no added flavors or blends.
What is BP grade CTC tea?
CTC tea leaves typically have different grades depending on the quality of the leaf. We pluck and package the highest grade, called "BP grade" which gives a full bodied brew and strong flavor for your cup of tea.
Where is Kurti tea grown?
We lovingly grow and harvest our tea in our own family tea plantation, Kurti Estate, in the Himalayan foothills of the northeast region of India. We're proudly harvesting tea since 1884.
Does Kurti add masala or spices to its tea?
We believe everyone has their own recipe for that most fulfilling cup of chai. We want to bring to you the purest & freshest tea leaves for the most flavorful cup of chai, without any additives or added flavors.
Pro tip: try making a cup without added masala or ginger to truly taste the delicious flavor of the tea leaves!
Why does Kurti taste stronger than other chai teas?
We use the top grade tea leaves, making the chai much more potent and taste bold & flavorful.
